I agree, it does have a dream like quality to it (as does most of your art) but the strong directional pull to the center makes almost scary to me...not the subject matter mind you...it's just, and i can't put my finger on it, but there's something eerie about this pic...

I find the narrow, strongly directional brushstrokes to be somewhat jarring, but I adore the mood and atmosphere this piece has, it feels very dreamlike.

Thanks CrimsonMagpie! I really enjoy an honest C&C! Wrestling with Painters brushstroke system is tricky some time. If this illustration feels dreamlike then I think I've done my job.

No problem, I do try to say intelligent things about art sometimes.

I find digital painting hard myself, and still haven't gotten the hang of making the brushstrokes to look pleasing to my eye. Ah, I know nothing of Farmville.
