If your out there and your listening you may have been wondering what I've been up to when I have time? I've been working on my "Graphic Novels". I've spent a year working on these "Graphic Novels" on and off. Anytime I had time I've worked on them. If you took the hours and put them together and made them 8 hour days that would be 2 months all together. Take that and spread it a cross a year and that would be around 2 hours a day every other day on and off.

It's been on average every other month I've been working on them. Organizing my time and cutting back on wasteful things. I don't even watch TV no more. Just when I thought I got rid of one bad habit my room mates switch to a super-fast internet. Now the web is trying to replace what I've let go, when I watched TV. Sticking with sacrifice and discipline, I keep the web at bay using it for only 2 or 3 hours a day. If the going gets ruff I'll cut "FaceBook" out. Oops, I'm running off with my words again, here's how the "Graphic Novels" turning out.

The first "Graphic Novels" "Woody and the Crew" is steady making it, I'm almost half way in with the pencils. I've spent the whole December stuck in the holidays with extra work and had no time to work on the "Graphic Novels" that month. The month before that I've spent the whole November sketching non-stop. I filled up a sketch book just by sketch out each panel to get the right camera angles, then sketching backgrounds and more background concepts designs. The good part is I never once had to stop to think what I was going to draw that day. I've already written out the whole story and did the character designs. When building, I like to think big, then brake it down to smaller parts, build each part up, then but all the parts back together.

So if anyone ever looking to make there own project that will keep them drawing with out an artist block. Then write yourself a story and illustrate it, if it's sequential art then you only have to write no more then 2 or 3  pages if you wish to keep the book under 20 pages of sequential art. Also remember to not cut you self short, write something epic and big that you will be willing to not only spend your hard earn time sitting down and reading or watching on TV but sitting down and illustrating it out as well. Remember think big or go home. You just got to remember to write down your idea, dreams, day dream's, or even real life events you have experienced. Sit down and meditate on them and thinks about them then write them down!

I think after a year of experimenting, I've got a  good system down to the point that I can do the writing and sketch's of a new idea and have sequential art started in under a month. I've written a layered system down that's goes into detail on how and what to do and how much time it takes to do that. It's just a long list of detailed objective with time tables, its too big to post with this already large journal. I'll post that when the time is right. If you can draw fast or learn how to, if you can or willing to fill a sketch book up for around 30 to 60 pages in under a month then you should not have a hard time creating storybook illustrations, "Graphic Novels", or comic books idea's from scratch, from writing to the point where you can start doing the sequential art.

I've told many people not to jump into story telling just to make money. Truth is, there's little money to be made if any. If your not in it because you love what you do and your willing to do if for free, then your wasting your time! Selling books for a living won't put a roof over the head of the average Joe. It takes hard work, allot of luck to make real money from selling books. Just about everyone I know that makes books have a day job.

Quoted From Guru.com

"Over the past 5 years, Guru.com has received many comments about its methodology to compute Freelancer Rank.  All of your perspectives have had validity and truth and we have taken your concerns to heart. Rank is a flawed, legacy structure that is ill-fitting to the depth, proportion, diversity and scale of the current Guru.com talent pool.  The basic Rank structure cannot accommodate multiple dimensions simply without pitting one group of interests against another, even as it presumes comparison on a level playing field.  Even within the same skill category, each individual provider offers a very different set of attributes of skill specialization, expertise level, operating capacity, industry experience, location, budget and more.  While such variety holds great promise for the marketplace, it is the confining structure of Rank that prevents the community from finding a shared sense of celebration in its similarities and differences.

Learn How Your Rank is Ending
Thus, the very concept of Rank hinders the success of the majority in favor of a select minority - regardless of which factor is used for the primary sort.  In contrast, Guru.com genuinely wants every Freelancer to have an opportunity to be a winner - not just a select few.

Get full details on the end of ranking.
On May 8th, your rank will be removed and search results will be sorted by earnings. Additional changes are underway and slated for release in the coming weeks.

Guru.com is committed to supporting you and your business acquisition needs; we believe Rank changes are necessary to ensure you unhindered opportunities in our marketplace. Read more about the discontinuation of Rank.

Thank you for challenging us to improve.
Your feedback has been and continues to be an invaluable source of information. As the necessary adjustments are put into place, Guru.com will continue to monitor their impact in pursuit of solutions that serve your needs optimally."

My Words

As a freelancer I also get some of my work off the internet with website's like Guru.com. I've notice a drop in the work I receive from Guru.com after the RANK system was put up. It looks like most of the freelancer work was getting funneled through a few elite artists on the Guru.com website. I feel most sorry for the new freelancers that are just jumping into the market and using the net and website's like Guru.com to find work.

I can't tell you how its important to find LOCAL  freelancer work near your home and how its important to use many different resources and many different websites. Don't depend on one source of income. I also tell artist's to get involved with your local studios and get to know as many artist's in your local area. Word of mouth is one of your best friends.

Forking out quality work for free is done all the time. What makes someone a true Pro is there experience as an artist and as a business man/woman. If you are experienced in getting paid for your services then you are an experience business man/woman.

For every professional artist there is someone that is technically just as good but with much less experience and is willing to work for free.

If some kid fresh out of collage and is living with there parents and is working at your desk for half the pay and they don't have kids/house/wife of there own to support then you can see how it feels when the shoes is on the other foot.

I see tons of artists that can draw Sequential art that is of Marvel quality all the time. These people do Sequential work for there clients for FREE!! Yet I don't see there name out there in the comic industry. Working for free for someone else can get you experience but will most likely not get you notice.

There are better, much easier ways of getting notice then working for free. You got to learn to network and promote yourself. Don't expect someone to promote you because you're working for them for free! Think about it, how many people you promoted, marketed, and advertised for free? Your better off paying someone to promote you.

Eat less exercise more!

People make things harder then they need to be. Before you can grow you must let old junk go. Before I do anything important I start out with a wise and logical process of elimination. If you wish to fly high you must travel light! People don't know what's really important these days. A magical pill will never overcome good old discipline and sacrifice.

The body it self has a mind of its own. The only problem is the body seems to feel only the simplest, strongest, most basic emotions. The body doesn't hate itself or feel like a no body after it has done its dirty deed. The way you compare yourself to others and reflect to others sits somewhere in the more sophisticated areas of the higher mind. You can't let your body bully you around, the body thinks of no long term goals, or as they put it now a days "a means to and end". You should be the leader of your own body. Don't fight with it all the time but don't let it bully you around all the time.

You should not wait for your body to pick its own path, you your self must take the wheel and ride that baby steady. Slowly make change your life's habits and give yourself a little room for relapse. Simple things like cutting ¼ of your daily meals for the first 6 months then going for ½ the next 6 months and so on. It may take 1 year, 2 year, or 3 year. Just GO at your own speed!! You will have your ups and downs but you must keep moving forward.

We know that one shoe don't fit all, every life style is different. A few years ago, I learned to use a few techniques that did wonders and has become as permanent as any techniques I've learn from art. I find out when I'm doing something I truly enjoy I'm not thinking of food. There's a BIG different in doing something you enjoy and watching something you like. Drop the TV hours to a max of 3 hours or less. When hands are free they like to reach for food, so give them something fun to do when you're not working. Pick an interactive multimedia, or play a board game with someone you know. Don't just sit and watch TV, keep those hands busy!

If you exercise more you can get away with stuffing your body with more food, but if you exercise very little then you don't have the luxury of stuffing your mouth. A smaller bowl means you eat less, (if you don't cheat), a smaller plate means you eat less. If you're ordering fast food then ask for a small or medium sized meal. Ask them if they have any juice instead of soda. Avoid buffets and all you can eat meals.

Last but not least. Not everyone has a body that has the ability to exercise appropriately and often. Sometimes cutting down your eating is the only option some people have. Be glad you can walk on 2 leg, and take care of your body and it will help take care of you.

I’ve have not been this busy this holiday season since I’ve played high school football in the playoffs season 12 years ago. Time passes fast and as the old saying goes, it gets faster as you get older. I’ll be slowing down and taking time off for the holidays for shore. I have lots of comments on my work that I need to reply back to. Don’t want to look stuck up like some of the much bigger names at DA that never reply to others comments. I’ll leave this “Featured Artists” list up this month and hopefully I’ll have time to change it next month! We should all remember that this is a hard times for most people and those of us who are blessed need to remember that, and if you find it hard to put time a side to help those that are in need then be shore to at least say a prayer for them. That’s all for now. I’ll CY laterzzzzzz.

I find Pixelledanddead style to be incredible. It’s original, it’s energetic, and it’s not just the line work but the colors and the motion are excellent as well, along with strong design and composition. She’s is truly a well rounded artist indeed!

Patricktoifl is an incredible real life artist who seems to have most of his work done all in digital. The details art is well done and the lighting is on stop, and to top it off he catches things other real life artist leave out in there finished work!

[link]

Aurora-design is an unbelievable graphics designer. Her designs can some day very much end up everywhere. She is excellent at putting multiple objects together in one photo and creating a totally different environment all together!

[link]

Skadj seems unmatched in her black and white graphite real life drawings! Her drawings are very dramatic and emotional. Her lighting is on spot and the composition she uses is excellent!

Willustration illustrations has a unique feel to them, and some of them bring laughter to me. Who doesn’t like a “Banana Sloth” or a “Banana Gorilla”? He does most of has work in Traditional Art. You got to give him credit for pulling off those types of colors old school style.

You years I’ve been doing comic book art and I’ve been around the internet forum and website and seen hundreds of different group and different types of geeks. After years of watching and studying I’ve noticed that most of these groups, well the hardcore entertainment type can be put into one of the 4 categories. Also when I mean hardcore I’m talking about people who will go out of there way to dress up in order to show how hardcore they are. Why do they do this is a mystery even to me. As a tech geek I’ve never been to a convention that did not have computer hardware as the main media for the show and yes I’m a mostly windows geek and yes I do think most Mac users are computer illiterate. As an online gamer a one button mouse will just not do.

First I would like to start off with the “SCIENCE FICTION” fans. I’ve notice a majority of the hardcore science fiction dress up as ether as Star wars type characters or as Star Trak type characters. The odd part about these hardcore science fiction fans is that they fight among them self’s more then they fight against other hardcore fans of different categories. Science Fiction geeks been known to be the hardcore of the hardcore and some even go out the way to memorize movies word by word and even got there own alien Klingon language. When it comes to customs they seem to be the first and have the most high-tech customs of any hardcore geekdom. The only true down side is there is a lack of females or female’s lack of interest in science fiction all together.

Next I would like to move over to the Fantasy or what I like to call it “NATURES FANTASY” because most of the hardcore fans seem to like there media of what fantasy should take place in a non-industrial environment, an environment with less cold technology and more warm nature and magic. The fantasy group seems to invalid people from the Lord of the rings, dungeon and dragons, Harry potter, and the new addition of MMORPG fantasy groups. The hardcore groups dress up as dwarves, elves, orcs, witches, and wizards. They seem to have far more females then the science fiction group but they also seem to be of one race the majority of the time. How many times did you see a black elf? A few extra things I’ve notice about fantasy geek. You may notice allot of them use the unicorn as a way to promote the fandom of fantasy.

Now on to the comic book or what I like to call it the “AMERICAN COMIC’S”. The comic book group seems to invalid the superhero’s comic, detective comic, horror comic, cartoon comic, and both science fiction and fantasy comics. The majority of hardcore geeks dress up as superhero’s form the 2 major comic book companies, Marvel and DC. They seem to have more female then the science fiction groups but less then the fantasy groups. The hardcore comic book geek also seems to be the most racially diverse then the science fiction, fantasy, and anime groups. Hardcore comic book geeks are the most critical of any geekdom, if you deliver you will have a group of followers who will follow you to the ends of the earth, but if you fall short they will hound you into hiding for a life time, No lie! In the 1990’s a few major comic book movies been hitting the box office. Since 2000 a new wave of comic book movies been hitting the box office and not all of them are made by DC or Marvel. To top it off you may have seen a few movie’s with out knowing they started out as a comic. Comic book geeks seem to have allot on there plate for quiet sometime.

Last but not least Anime or what I like to call it “ANIME/MANGA”. Anime/Manga seems to have the foot hold when it comes to big robot Mech’s and Marshal arts. The Anime/Manga group also seems to have its own brand of science fiction and fantasy. Allot of anime like to have both rather then on or the other. The result you get is that one wood village can live a few miles from a huge concrete city and that city can live a few miles from an even bigger steel industrial capital city. This seem to reflect on japans environment where you have one small village nearly unchanged for hundreds of year and all you have to do in order to see a bigger city is hop on to the train and go to a city the size of New York. The hardcore geeks dress up as Robots, characters with huge hairdos, Final fantasy, and some type of mini pocket creatures. Anime/ Manga seem fairly racially diverse and hold the largest amount of females for any group of geeks. The down side is they seem to have to fight against the other different types of geeks. Rather it’s the “SCIENCE FICTION” or the “NATURES FANTASY” or the “AMERICAN COMIC’S” Anime always seem to be treated as the odd ball. Could it be a clash of different cultures or just plane cultures shock? Only time will tell.

I personal think it has to do mainly with sexuality. That’s why I’m one of the few who thinks most of the problems can be avoided with allowing the American media to edit off shore media before it hits TV. Don’t wish to keep on blabbing on and on so I’ll see yeah next time.

It's that time again! First off I like to say that this year has been quite peaceful to start with. I've push my ability and skill in art to about were I want it to be at this point and time. If I wish to make my work even better I will have to do more real life art painting with figures/landscapes which takes weeks or even mouths to finish. To me art is more about getting my ideas/dreams down on paper and in color, not just how realistic I can make it. I do enjoy doing portraits of people and pets, maybe a year from now I'll make room for a few master pieces that takes a mouth or 2 to do. For now I have tons of pages of written ideas I've been waiting years to start drawing.

I've started a number of projects, the good thing is if I get writers block and one project slows down I can hop onto a different one. I'm thinking of doing the writing, the thumbnails and concept art then finding a few artists to do the sequential parts. For now I'll do more story book style writing and drawing. Maybe a poem or philosophy driven book. For now the few projects I'm working on is biblical driven. One of them is called "Moses the last action hero", he's sent back to earth and must travel back and forth though time in order to save the world. The next project I'm working up will be about an African American holy man call "Bishop Brown", he fights an underground war between good and evil that has waged on since the creation of mankind. There are a few more I got on the table right now, one of them is about "A Barbarian in Miami", it's strange and it's completely from a nighttime dream I've had this year. It's about a Barbarian who arrives here on earth mystery and shortly after his arrival a full scale alien invasion begins. These non friendly aliens are reptilian like and have a wide range or military weapons. There army is not huge in size so they use bio weapons to swell there army by turning everyday towns people into very unpleasant but powerful abomination of nature. This Barbarian has an augmented body and is armed with just one very powerful sword. The sword has the ability to transform physics and madder, but he has not figure out how to fully use this sword. For some reason something went wrong before he had time to finish training and the store continues.

Wile I'm at it I want to have a vote on what you want me to draw next. I call it the "YOU vote" and it's all about YOU. This is a good time for me to give back to those people who thought it was worth stopping by to watch the artwork I've spent time creating. I'll start off with a wide range of topics and move to more specific topics the next vote. So drop by, even if there's just 3 of yeah, its FREE artwork!

I've been organizing my time more effectively. I've changed my eating habits about over a year ago and I'm 50 ponds lighter and I only eat 2 times a day. The down side is that I go number 2 every 5 to 6 days, which makes me a weekend pooper. If I can get some exercise back into my life then that would be great. For now I must make more time in my life and that means letting go of things that once helped me in my life but are now just making things harder and I just seem to go to these places out of habit alone. These few message forums and art boards that I find my self spending way too much time per day and will most likely have to go cold turkey to break the habit of spending so much time at these internet website. Just like 8 years ago when I broke the online chat habit I'll have to break this message forum one as well. Yet this reminds me of the same problems I had 8 years ago. You go in to this part of the web and communicate with bright smart productive people that are spending there spare time doing lots of great projects for no money at all. In that time you learn a great deal and talk to some real great people and get invalid in some great projects. Then things slowly turn bitter, people start doing very unpleasant things behind each others backs and slowly the good people start walking away and the place start falling apart from the inside out. A few years later you turn around and all that's left is a bunch of ego driven bitter people who finds it more entertaining to attack each other and the newbie's then get-together and create something worth wild. I guest most art forums get like the when they get old. The bright open minded people find better grass to graze on and the negative close minded stubborn people just sit there like a rock until the whole roof falls on them. The older I get the more I learn to let things go, in the long run you just got to push out excess baggage just to keep life moving at a steady speed. Keeping what's truly important and letting go and not being a pack rat just seems to help in the long run. For now I've spend some extra time looking for new places to go new people to meet new project and ideas to work with. Don't worry, "deviantART" is still one of my most favorite places to go to and hope it will be a long lasting relationship.

It's been sometime since I've last posted a Journal. Had a crazy summer and in the process I've almost completely lost track of my deviantArt page. I've let my "deviantWATCH" go up to 500 and I had to empty the whole thing out because once you get pass 100 you can't scroll though them, for some reason you can only view the most recent ones. So in order to view the older ones I must erase the new ones. When you got 500 "deviantWATCH'S" and you don't wish to spend the whole day looking at every one of these than your only options is to work with the newest ones and erase everything else. Now I'm focus on putting up new stuff, hopefully I'll update everything from the "Featured Deviation" and the "Desktop Screenshot" to the "Wishlist" and the Avatar, and that "Devious Information" seems why out of date so I got to change that to. On a good note deviantArt have been working more smoothly then in the pass, looks like they have been working hard to keep things functional. Got to congratulate them for hearing out there fellow deviantArt members and adding allot of new features that makes life not only easier on deviantArt but more fun as well.

Now back to what happen this summer. As you know I had a crazy summer but it really had to do with the month of July. The first two weeks my older brother Tony came out to California from Wisconsin Milwaukee. The only problem is that he bought his wife and 5 of his kids and his little sister in-law. So that's 8 people, 2 adult and 6 kids. So Tony wanted to stop by my apartment with all those kid, I told him I'm not giving him my address. Can't have a small pack of critters smashing my one bad room apartment, that just not going to happen. Anyway there suppose to be staying at my parent's house. I told Tony I'll come over and visit every other day wile yeah out here. Other then the constant loud noise, it was a great visit. They been to allot of place, I've came with them to the docks at Redondo Beach and we stopped by the arcades. We also have been to Universal Studios as well, it was fun but I usually go to Universal Studios twice a year so not much new except that I steal had not seen all of the action shows. Got to get there real early like 8:00 am one day to get those shows I keep missing. We had lots of fun there, it's a great place to take the family.

My bother and his family went home after two week and the next two week my Ant, Uncle in-law, and cousin with her loud kid came to visit, that's 4 people, a bit more easier to deal with, except the fact that this two year old is louder as all the other kids combined! So I dropped by the house and opened up the door and to my amassment I see that little baby beating up on the dog. Bad thing about it is that her and the dog goes at it for the entire two weeks, turn my head for a min and I hear that dog howling, oh no that baby got a hold of that dog again! Yet we had fun, we stop by Redondo Beach again but this time with a different set of people. This time we had crab to eat. I love sea food, I also love the Korean comic strips in the Korean news papers you get for free there.

The most fun part of that mouth was the trip to Las Vegas. So we got a hotel off the strip. This hotel was cheap, the sink did not want to drain right, the running water had weak water pressure and the shower was way too small. Yet that was the only bad part of the trip. So our hotel is downtown right by that mini strip, you know the one with the LED Light Show arch that looks like a giant TV screen, I think they call it "Viva Vision". We spent 3 day at Las Vegas if you include the days we spent on the road as well. We took the elevator down to walk the mini strip with the "Viva Vision" many times. They had casinos were you can win free prizes, awesome restaurants, Rock Bands playing music, and that awesome light show you never to far from, all you got to do is look up. We also got to visit Casers Palace and walk the main strip, we saw a bride and groom leave with about 100 other people out the building in this major big wedding at one of the newest casinos. We also watched the water fountain show, you know the one with the moving water shooting up in the air, it was nice.

To make things short we finally made it back home had a big barbecue before they left. For me this was one of the most fun summers I've had in memory. Looks like I've been writing for over a half an hour. Got to get back to work CY laterzzz.

You’re only truly worth as much as you can sell your skills to some one. If you wish to make a living off of freelancing, you must be PROFESSIONAL, know exactly how much your worth and sell you skills with a take it or leave it attitude. Its good to know how to bargain sometime as well. If they want just cartoons then give them cartoons, if they want the cheapest colors then give them flats. Don’t go out the way for them if they want something for 20 or 40 dollars. If you’re doing something for over a 100 dollars please ask for money up front! Please, please, please, make sure the client is SERIOUS about the job!!! Even new and old freelancers fall into this trap sometime, don’t waste your time with someone who don’t know what they want. True is you should never work with anyone who is not serious about the job at hand. That’s a life long lesson, if there’s anything in life to be serious about, its money, don’t let anyone play with your money……….. NEVER! If you got 5 kids and a wife yelling at you, you’ll learn to grow tuff skin when it comes to getting your share of the money. Use that mindset that you got to feed many mouths when working as a freelancer. You’ll get your money believe me!

First impression is most important with clients. Don’t let them think they’re getting a free ride. If they want something big make them pay the fair price limit you set before hand. If they want a 20 or 30-dollar deal. Then ask them “are you paying for cartoons”? If they’re not serious, then they don’t want to talk money, and if they don’t want to talk money then look for some one who will. Get out there and get as many clients as you can and then you will have allot more easier time weeding the bad ones out. In the long run you will save more time and money looking for the right people then you would making half good deals with shady people. Right now I’m thinking of spending my time looking for the right agent to do just that same thing for me.

Some of the most fun times I had in my life were playing spots. Football, Baseball, Basketball, Karate, you name it. Board games like Chest and Monopoly were great back then. Video games and computer games are also great for strategy as well. Still the best strategy you can ever use is a strategy for your every day life. Discipline, self-control is everything and is most important to Strategy. Being prepared with a Strategy is always important, learn to write down strategy in your dream. Have a strategy for everything that's important and for everyone that's important. There are 5 mane rules for good strategy. Rule number 1 Scouting: Make it your job to know what's happening, have your eyes and ears out there, you may need be pay someone to do some spying as well. Rule number 2 Planning: Take all the goods you found scouting and use them to put a sound plan together. Remember never waste Resources in a head on battle unless you have to, always if you can uses a decoy or bate to get your opponents to trap him self or expose his weakness. Rule number 3 Preparation: For a plan to work you must have the right tools, with out the right tools your plan will fail. Do not Execute your plan until you have everything, always have backup tools as well.  Rule number 4 Execution: There is only one-way to get Execution right and that, practice, practice, and practice. Timing is everything, hit hard hit fast hit accurate and don't let up. Rule number 5 Feed Back: You must always know what worked and what did not work. Scout around a second time and get as much info on what the opponent did to mess up and what you did not do as well as you think you should have. Repeat the 5-step process and have a back up plan. Philosophy, History, Psychology, and Logic can help you become better at Strategy.

Logic it self can't completely apply what ego truly is. You can be a 7-foot person standing in front of a 5-foot person looking across the street and not even see him. At the same time the smaller person thinks your getting an ego kick off of standing over him. How you look at other people's ego and how you look at your ego inside are two completely different things. If only every one was exactly the same then ego would not be a problem. Try imagining your self, walking in some other person's shoes, this takes a true consciousness mind to do often and effectively. Attitude along can't determined true ego, its when a person opens his mouth and start making comparisons to other people who they feel are lesser then them self and express it to those people in a vocal matter. Its good to have good self-esteem, you can't truly separate self-esteem and ego, there similarity are too strong. When ego just like any negative emotion can gets out of control when they are no longer mental thinking and start becoming a physical thing then they WILL cause you good harm down the road! Your self-esteem/ego can be as big as you like it, just keep it under control and just keep it to your self. Be (responsible) a good example to those who look up to you. Remember responsibility and Maturity are one in the same.

Taking a good art class is one of the keys to becoming a well-balanced artist. I've taken class's were most people excel in THREE or more art mediums. One skill complements the other, don't be afraid to be multi-talented. The real trick is picking what to draw to get a fan base. Don't always have to have superheros, try a few popular TV shows now and then and draw out a pin-up or Sequential of what happens often on that show. Try exaggerating a normal plot scene that happens often and add your own twist to it! Like draw a cut scene of 24 with Jack Bauer standing buy a crazy guy strapped with an explosive belt but instead of fighting each other for now they both kicking back on a brick wall taking a 5 min brake and each eating a ham sandwich or sub-way. Knowing the right people can get you in the door with hardly no skills but you got to learn to be a good talker, good liar or good at kissing up.

Line art very much depends on were your skill level is at. If you can draw a decent looking cartoon figure of a human then your already half way there. After Prospective, Proportion, and Anatomy rendering comes into hand. Line art is the final layer of rendering for penciling and inking. Line art is best known from the comic book and newspaper industry for is style. Back then you did not have to add color to inked line art and it was very easy to print on cheap paper. Quick and cost effective still today for newspaper comic strips. The best way to speed up you learning ability is to go to school (collage), but if that's not a reality to you then getting your hands on some good books are the next options. "Barns & Noble" give you easy access to some good books, if you can't get to a "Barns & Noble" then ordering online is your next bet. From me Personally "Drawing Dynamic comics" by Andy Smith is a good starter book for jumping into the comic book field but it doesn't have good information on drawing hands and feet. The best thing to do is learn for both fellow artist's and the books you can get your hands on, GET AS MUCH REAL LIFE PHOTO reference's and sketch them out and memories them as much as you possibly can, practice what you learn and master it, exercise to maintain your skill, but most of all make drawing fun in anyway you can or you won't find your self drawing often. Just have fun.
I just don't get how there going to get a real amount of people to actually pay for Deviant with its loads of bud's and sever downtime. Basic service has basic needs!! If you can't sell clean food you can't keep a restraint open for long, if you sell a new program that has ton's of bugs and people decide to keep the old program then that's counter productive, and if your trying to sell sever space with a sever that's running online half the time then you have to think, if I can't just toss more money in the whole thing than maybe I'm going a little to fast?

Maybe I should go back till I'm truly ready to make the next step. As for the restraint owner, he need to cut back on any new stuff he wishes to add, he needed to cut back on that new oven, freezer, and getting that new paint job on his building, take the extra money and hire a worker or workers to do the cleaning. With that sacrifice he can go from a C- rated restraint to an A- restraint and in turn bring in more customers and more money.

You know about that guy who made a new program with all the bugs? He could not meet the deadline with a good program so he told the boss to put it on the back burner and he will take the program home and on his spear time, work out the bad bugs. He took a few of his net geeks and they made beta demo's of it and had tones of people test it out. Then he and his geek bubby were able to wash out almost all the bugs. Then he took the program to his boss and told him, its just about ready. He marketed and sold a solid (product) program that took off on store shelve on the first day.

As for severs, the first and last rule about working well on the Internet means being truly connected to the net. You can backup all your data but if your not connected to the net no one knows your there on the net. As you can see even severs have PRIORITY'S!
If there are any priority's on running a sever then one of the first priority is staying online, having most of the money used just to keep the sever online is both a practical and logical nasality. Second, having a simple non-buggy program running on the sever is the next priority. MS NT, MS Window 2000, MS XP pro, anything that can handle a sever computer and its many tasks.

There are very few other priorities's that are more important than those two. Like having good hardware or making shore your computer is not running hot and is kept clean. Know on to a bug that been buggy me all this week. I looked around and have not yet to find anyone else with this bug if you call it a bug. This bug seems to remove any images that I've submitted in the mouth of October. I thought this bug got fixed but only one time this week I could view my entire gallery but this bug just won't go away. I hope they fix this soon, I also wonder how are they going to rake in allot of money with bugs like this. I'm just thinking about a new guy that just joined Deviant and just submitted his art just to see that it's not in his gallery. He would think this place is broke. Well that's it for today, I'll keep you people updated on what's happening with this bad bug so stay toon.

This guy been riding my back for some time, telling me he paid too much for the website I made for him. He thinks he should have paid 50$ dollars for this website. He paid me 200$ after I told him I would take the site down. Everything on that website I made, I scanned, resized, captioned, edit, and uploaded over 120 images and the knight on the index page was done of free. Well here is the website at the link below.
